Babytragen von bumbaumel: die Video-Trageanleitung ist da!

15.09.10 12:59

is that a stretchy wrap? I found mine (it was a slpeey wrap) almost as fast as a ring sling and far superior in comfort for hours of wearing, though once they reach a certain weight with the stretching it really isn't comfortable anymore. I'd just leave it tied on all day long and pop DD in and out of it without untying. Though, I could never figure out how to nurse with her in it. Now we use woven wraps and soft-structured carriers (we LOVE our kinderpack) DD (19m) will only fall asleep on my back unless she is utterly exhausted then she'll nurse to sleep, so we do a lot of babywearing LOVE it!! sorry to be so ramble-y lol

Thank you, Emily. I had come to the end of the road with my stretchy sling and was belwdiered and a little intimidated by the range of other slings on offer, not to mention astonished at the prices. Coming to the library helped me identify which sling would suit me, and try out some new ties to get using it. I have now ordered two woven wraps and love them to pieces. If not for the sling library, I may not have continued using slings and that would have been a real shame for me and my baby.

You can definitely wear these while pregnant, In fact a close friend of mine used to wear her toddler in my same carrier when she was at my house. The strap fit nicely on top of her Bump! And you can wear these with Newborns as well! You just tuck their little legs in, and spread the straps wide over the body of the carrier to give the same feel and coverage as a wrap. )

forgot to ask two more questions. 1. i noticed that these carriers are worn an awful lot higher than most.. can they be worn while pregnant? since you can kind of get them above the waist? 2. can these be worn with brand newborns? do we just tuck the feet in together until they are old enough to straddle?
