The Mei Tai: a cool urban baby carrier

The bumbaumel mei tai is an innovative modern adaptation of a traditional Asian baby carrier. No plastic clips, no synthetic straps: the mei tai is like a wrap, only much easier to use. The baby sits in a square pouch in the middle of the carrier and tied to the parent's shoulders and waist.

The bumbaumel mei tai is as simple to use as a soft pack carrier, yet as flexible as a wrap. It is comfortable enough to use for longer periods of time and great for travelling, day touring and even hiking. It can be used with babies and infants up to 2 years.
